Taiwan History: Three Versions

After extensive research, I have compiled three versions of Taiwan history covering the period of the late 19th to late 20th centuries.

Taiwanese history from the Chinese viewpoint

The first two versions are offered together, with the differing conclusions of the Taipei-based Republic of China, and the Beijing-based People's Republic of China given for consideration.

Next, I offer five observations and annotations to this "Chinese view of history."

Taiwanese history from the international viewpoint

Finally, an overview of Taiwanese history from an international perspective is offered.

Since my historical listing of events uses the same numbering system throughout, the information in the "Chinese view" and the "international view" may be easily compared and contrasted.

This data was compiled as part of another research project entitled Recent Chinese History

However, I am providing it here to show the existence of three versions of modern Taiwanese History.
